Assessor Mentorship Program

The intended design of the Assessor Mentorship Programme (AMP) is one which will facilitate the provision of guidance by more experienced trained assessors to newly trained assessors particularly those being prepared to engage in a mutual evaluation for the first time. The engagement in a mutual evaluation may either be (1) during and up to the presentation and adoption of a Mutual Evaluation Report (MER) or (2) in the Follow-Up Process (FUP). In both cases, persons engaged are required to be equipped with the tools and competencies needed to: –

1. Undertake an assessment of the technical compliance with the FATF Recommendations, and
2. Review the level of effectiveness of a country’s Anti-Money Laundering/Countering the Financing of Terrorism and Proliferation (AML/CFT/CPF) regime.
